Poland’s TVN 24 has chosen Network Electronics’ TV-C PLUS MPEG-2 encoders to contribute approximately four hours of video per day from a remote controlled video capture site on the Polish coast.
TVN 24 has selected and deployed TV-C PLUS encoders to contribute
MPEG-2 video captured by remote controlled cameras. The site is linked
by fibre to the TVN 24 media centre in Warsaw. The footage of a popular
Polish beach location is an important part of the station’s innovative
weather coverage. The TV-C PLUS solutions were supplied to TVN 24
through the Warsaw office of the Network Electronics business partner
A.F. Marcotec.
TVN 24, launched in 2001, was Poland’s first 24-hour news channel. TVN
24 covers local and international news and airs special reports,
discussions and documentaries. The channel is widely considered
Poland's most reliable and credible source of news and current affairs
information.
