40% of Spanish homes have DTT |

In the middle of the financial and economic crisis Spain's DTT carries on progressing. Now 37.4% of the country's homes have a DTT box.
Out of this figure 32.4% are integrated decoders in the TV set. With
fewer than two years before analogue switch off and according to the
latest information by the Estatistics National Instituto (INE), 99.7%
of homes have a TV set of which 21.4% get the channels through
satellite dishes, 15% through cable and 4.6% through DSL or telephony
networks.
Finally the report also shows technology penetration is very high in
children: computer use among then represents 94.1% and internet use
82.2%.
