The Middle East & Africa are the fastest growing broadband markets in the world, up 89.1% between Q1 2005 and Q1 2006, and furthermore a recent report by research company Infonetics concluded that the EMEA region presently accounts for 48% of worldwide IPTV service revenue. The Middle East and Africa promise significant growth opportunity across the telecoms sector in the next five years, and as competition intensifies, operators are expected to employ attractive services such as IPTV to both retain customers and attract new ones.
IPTV World Forum Middle East & Africa aims to provide the opportunity to benefit from established local deployments of IPTV and also meet those from further afield, along with other seasoned attendees from the IPTV World Series. The event will feature the series’ unique operator-centric formula, and bring together local and worldwide IPTV service providers and telcos along with key technology vendors, broadcasters and systems integrators.
